On the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2024, the National University Library of Turin is hosting a meeting dedicated to the restorer Erminia Caudana and her pupil Amerigo Bruna, who were responsible for the recovery of hundreds of volumes severely damaged by the fire that hit the Library’s old premises in Via Po on the night between 25 and 26 January 1904: the ancient workshop is now partially reconstructed with original furniture and tools in the exhibition space.
