Summer 2024 in Torino and surroundings

Are you spending your summer in our area and looking for inspiration on events, out-of-town trips and experiences in Turin and its province? You are in the right place!

Experience Torino open air: in the numerous parks, to cool off in the shade of the trees or organise a good picnic, in the swimming pool, for a refreshing dip.. but also in the elegant streets of the centre and in those characteristic of the oldest neighbourhoods, in the large squares, in the open air museums or sitting in one of the many historic cafés and restaurants to enjoy the delicious summer specialties.

And outside the city... Mountain or Lake? Strolling through valleys or through the streets of villages and fortresses? Full sport or complete relaxation!

On the lakes, such as Candia, the Avigliana Lakes or Malciaussia.  In valleys and mountains, with breathtaking views, pure air, bright colours, unique flora and fauna, ideal terrain for trekking and all kinds of outdoor activities. In villages, castles and fortresses on the trail of history. In parks, one for all? the Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso, the oldest in Italy, which blows 100 candles this year.

And to combine physical activity with nature, culture, history and food and wine of the territory, here are the four routes of the Via Francigena of Piedmont, itinerary of faith - but not only – where visitors will grasp the essence of places often suspended in time: from Canavese to Val Susa, from Turin to Vercelli and the Ligurian Sea. To end with inspirations, the "Corona di Delizie" of the Royal Residences of the House of Savoy - a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997 - which surround the city with their centuries-old parks and gardens, to be discovered also using the relaxing cycling routes ... Reggia di Venaria Reale and Parco La Mandria are a must.
