Settimo Torinese

Of Roman origin, in the past the town has always been the center of contention for its location between Torino and Milano; inserted in the Po River Park, it is rich in parks and green areas, so much so that a museum dedicated to respect for nature and the environment was opened called Ecomuseum Frediano. One of the characteristic elements of Settimo Torinese to be discovered walking through its historic center is the Tower of Settimo, dating back to the thirteenth century, and the Chapel of San Giorgio. The municipality was also one of the finalists to become the Capital of Culture 2018 for its ability to plan, design, build and make, and is increasingly recognized as a shopping city thanks to the Torino Outlet Village.
