Once again this summer, the Olympic mountains return to resound with great music: from 2 to 21 August 2025, the TRT Philharmonic proposes a new edition of Altenote, the summer festival of chamber music born in 2014 and realised in collaboration with the Unione Montana dei Comuni Olimpici della Via Lattea: Cesana Torinese, Claviere, Pragelato, Sauze di Cesana, Sauze d'Oulx, Sestriere.
Altenote was created to foster an atmosphere of closeness between the artists and the audience, promoting quality music and excellent performers in everyday contexts. Different concerts, different programmes, different days and above all a different atmosphere for each scenario in which the public is invited to immerse themselves and get excited.
Citizens, tourists and enthusiasts will have the opportunity to listen to some of the best-loved pieces of the classical repertoire - from Bach to Mozart, from Gershwin to Mendelssohn - performed by ensembles from the TRT Philharmonic and by participants in the Esperienza Orchestra project, the TRT Philharmonic's training programme, supported by Intesa Sanpaolo, which involves young artists selected for professional productions, enabling them to engage with established musicians and repertoires of the highest level.
All concerts are free admission. Altenote 2025 is an initiative of Filarmonica TRT in collaboration with the Comuni Montani Olimpici della Via Lattea.
