Perle ai porci slaloms through various topics: economics and politics, family and religion, society and customs, but also private considerations and snippets of autobiography.
The common thread is the satirical point of view that connects them, just like the thread in a string of pearls. A satire that plays on several levels: sometimes highlighting the absurdities already present in reality - such as the child who denounces the king's nakedness - sometimes subverting the canons to bring to light contradictions bordering on the ridiculous.
