SPAZIO ESPOSITIVO PER L’ARCHEOLOGIA E PARCO ARCHEOLOGICO DEL LAGO PISTONO

The Lake Pistono Archaeological Exhibition Space records the prehistory of the moraine lakes of Ivrea from the Neolithic to the Metal Age: the culture and lifestyle of the first inhabitants of a land between the mountains and the water are narrated through archaeological finds, of particular scientific importance. The exhibition develops through thematic nuclei with appropriate explanatory display cases and panels which allow discovering how and on what Neolithic men lived, and in what manner cultural innovation influenced their daily lives.
The lakeside Archaeological Park was inaugurated in March 2017 and displays a life-size reconstruction of a home: the new itinerary completes and integrates this experience, which is also enriched by educational workshops and guided tours for adults.
