FLOWERS FESTIVAL. AFRICA UNITE + ADRIAN SHERWOOD

After more than 40 years of career, Africa Unite return in concert to recall some of the atmospheres and songs taken from ‘Babylon and Poetry’, one of the most representative albums of their extensive record production, released in 1993: a special event that will see many of the musicians of the line-up from that time on stage, a unique ‘flower’ dedicated to Turin. Alongside them will be the most important and innovative producer of the British reggae scene and one of the most prolific figures of the post-punk era, Adrian Sherwood, the link between the strong influence of Jamaican music on British culture and the development of sounds as disparate as post-punk, hip-hop, industrial, jungle, dubstep and beyond.
