PORTRAITS OF EMOTIONS. SUMMER SCHOOL

Anger, fear, disgust, surprise, happiness and sadness. According to scholars, these are the six primary human emotions, which correspond to as many typical facial expressions. Gabriela Niko (aka Doodle Traffic), a Polish artist, designer and content creator with a passion for portrait art and sketchbooking, will hold an intensive course open to all focusing on emotions and the ability to portray them.

Participants will explore the topic through simple portraits and a variety of creative metaphors and symbols, choosing an emotion and translating it into an illustration through traditional and digital media. By the end of the workshop, each participant will have created a powerful work of art and all the output produced will become Risograph prints!
