OnThursday 31 October, on the occasion of Halloween, the Royal Museums present ‘Samonios: the true story of Halloween’.
From 7.30 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. (last admission at 10.45 p.m.) the public will be able to take part in the special evening opening animated by the presence of historical re-enactors along the tour of the Museum of Antiquities
From 7.30 p.m. to 10 p.m., in the various museum sections, the public will meet the historical re-enactors of the Terra Taurina and Okelum Associations to learn more about customs and stories linked to the world of the Celts
The event will culminate in the ritual lighting of the Samonios fire in the Giardini Reali at 10.30 p.m., around which dances will be performed to celebrate the Celtic New Year.
The special cost of the evening is € 5.00, including admission to the Museum of Antiquities, the exhibition dedicated to Isis, and the Royal Gardens.
