THE TORINESER IN MOSTRA

Nuvola Lavazza celebrates its 6th anniversary with the exhibition "The Torineser", from June 15th to September 15th, 2024. A tribute to Turin through illustration, featuring works by Truly Design, Ilaria Urbinati, Helga Aversa, Aurora Bartoli, Katia Boarino, Chiara Chinaglia, Alessandro Damin, Luca Grassi, Erica Lazzeri, Nice and the Fox, Cinzia Piazza, Luna Ronco, Alessandra Sartoris, Valerio Sigismondi, Taccigram, Andrea Tomasino, and Vittoria Zorzi.

A journey through the city through the covers of an imaginary magazine. The illustrations tell the story of Turin with its symbols, its people, and its coffee culture.

Each artist offers a unique perspective on the city. Truly Design captures the encounter between everyday life and coffee, while Ilaria Urbinati proposes a poetic vision of the link between the city and the beverage. Helga Aversa and Aurora Bartoli explore Turin’s neighborhoods, Katia Boarino and Chiara Chinaglia immortalize moments of pause, Alessandro Damin and Luca Grassi focus on architectural details, Erica Lazzeri and Nice and the Fox capture the atmosphere of bars, Cinzia Piazza and Luna Ronco pay homage to the Mole Antonelliana, Alessandra Sartoris and Valerio Sigismondi reinterpret the city’s museums, Taccigram and Andrea Tomasino tell the stories of the inhabitants, while Vittoria Zorzi celebrates the nature that surrounds the city.

The exhibition is a further step in the bond between Lavazza and Turin. Over the past 6 years, Nuvola Lavazza has welcomed nearly 400,000 visitors and hosted over 400 events.
