Two special tours led by the Director, Luca Mana, to rediscover the museum collections through previously unpublished stories.
In Storie di famiglie. Accorsi and the Italian nobility, the protagonists are Pietro Accorsi and the prestigious aristocratic families who purchased objects or had their homes furnished by the famous antique dealer.
During the visit The Church of Sant’Antonio Abate. Its history over the centuries, the history of the church that in 1600 stood in the place of the Museum of Decorative Arts is recounted: from its origins, dating back to 1616, to the embellishment works by Bernardo Vittone, up to its transfer to the Mauritian Order and its subsequent purchase in 1956 by Accorsi.
