VIULETA 2024 - 5ª EDIZIONE

5th edition of the event dedicated to spontaneous singing groups from the Alps and Apennines.
An exhibition of spontaneous folk singing and mountain music, a festival that brings joy to Viù through spontaneous polyvocal singing groups from central and northern Italy, who present themselves in the village premises: a true language of Alpine tradition that still translates emotions linked to daily life, love, war.
A three-day event linked to spontaneous singing and the canons governing its ethics and aesthetics.

It begins on Friday 13 with a presentation by researcher Dina Staro and a Romagna-style party.
On Saturday 14, the highlight event with "La via dei canti": in the dreamlike atmosphere of the evening, the seven guest groups will perform in the taverns of the old town centre, then reunite late at night at the Polivalente for a final moment of song and vocal exchange.
On Sunday 15, in the morning, at the Sanctuary of the Salette, the groups will perform a religious and para-religious repertoire alongside their profane repertoire.
