SUPERGA

Baby Trekking
Departure: Torino - Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, 53
Arrival: Torino - Strada Basilica di Superga, 73
Development: km 1,5
From the Sassi station, you can take the Dentiera up to the Basilica of Superga, which is visible from every point in the city and dominates from above.

A unique balcony over the city and the Turin hillside. From the Porta Nuova railway station, take bus line 68 (about 30 min) to the Sassi Superga station, a jewel of art deco with an enclosed square and garden, fountain and benches for waiting.

Board one of the historic Dentiera wagons and climb for about 15 minutes to Superga: the view to the left with the basilica appearing almost at your height is magnificent! Arriving at the upper station of Superga, we recommend the new ‘Spazio Sassi-Superga' with the Sassi station restaurant before going to the square of the Basilica di Superga, built in 1706, and in whose basement the Royal Tombs of the Savoy family can be visited. Once out, take the Sentiero dei Faggi (Beech Path) that leads through the woods and after a half-hour walk rejoins the Dentiera Station.
