Breakfast at the facility.
Possibility of another excursion immersed in nature or descending into the valley, we recommend a stop in Pinerolo "City of the Cavalry" for a visit to the Cavalry Corps Historical Museum, which has been housed in the former Principe Amedeo Barracks since 1968 and traces the life of the famous School and the Corps through the evolution of the uniform, headgear, medals and decorations, flags and banners.
The Museum, suitable for all age groups, with its 33 rooms is able to bring to life the last three centuries of Italy’s history through a very rich collection of uniforms, paintings, photographs and sculptures and, in particular the history of Pinerolo with its Cavalry School and the memorable exploits of Captain Caprilli, a world master of horsemanship.
With its collection of thousands of reenacted toy soldiers, settings with stuffed horses and Belle Époque carriages, it is considered one of the richest military museums in Europe.
