Nuvola Lavazza is the ideal meeting point for sharing projects, food and culture: Nuvola Lavazza headquarter, La Centrale, the Lavazza Museum, the Bistrot Casa Lavazza collective restaurant and the gourmet restaurant Condividere meet in Piazza – one of the first smart areas in Torino. Realised in the Aurora district in 1897 – few minutes from Torino city center – La Centrale is an old power plant where industrial archaeology and contemporary shapes closely interact to enhance through glass, cement and metal all the original elements, such as the monumental window on the front and the hall crane. The space – about 4500 sq. – can host cultural, entertainment, food and business events: it provides an atrium with a cloakroom and sign in area, a central place for big events, a meeting room that can be divided in two different rooms and an indoor terrace. All spaces can be adjusted on request. The Lavazza Museum is an innovative company museum that offers a sensory-emotional journey on Lavazza and coffee culture, and by extension, on 20th century Italian industrial history. The multimedia equipment and the Tasting Area provide a personalised experience inside the museum, whom is also available for private and company events, including the Archaeological Area from IV-V century discovered in 2014 during Nuvola’s construction work. A public parking with 180 parking lots is reachable from La Centrale.
