Arrival: Torino - Monte dei Cappuccini
Development: km 8
Walk to the highest points of the city: the Mole Antonelliana, 85 metres high, and the Mountain Museum on Monte dei Cappuccini. Two similar yet different viewpoints, surrounded by a beautiful mountain backdrop. From Porta Nuova railway station, walk along Via Roma and Via Po to reach Piazza Vittorio Veneto. From Via Po take Via Montebello to get to the Mole Antonelliana, the spectacular building that is the symbol of Turin designed by architect Antonelli in 1862 and 167 metres high.
Leaving the Mole, head to the Church of the Gran Madre di Dio, whose architecture is reminiscent of the Pantheon in Rome, then continue along Corso Moncalieri to reach Monte dei Cappuccini and the National Mountain Museum.
