Turismo Torino e Provincia at the BIT in Milan

12 February 2026

From February 10 to 12, Turismo Torino e Provincia is present at the BIT – Borsa Internazionale del Turismo in Milan, with a desk inside the Piemonte Region stand.

Yesterday, in the early afternoon, together with the Città di Torino, the Torino Chamber of Commerce, and the Piemonte Region, we organized the press conference “Torino e il Piemonte ci hanno preso gusto: tra cioccolato, sport e cultura”, to showcase a territory that has learned to work as a system and to transform events, culture, sport, and food & wine into a continuous strategy of international attractiveness and positioning.

📅 The 2026 calendar kicks off with two flagship events:

  • CioccolaTò (February 13–17)
  • Frecciarossa Final Eight of the Italian Basketball Cup (February 18–22)

Two major events that launch a very rich season and confirm Torino and Piemonte as key players on the national and international scene.

🤝 A dialogue between different worlds – taste, sport, and culture – which also translates into original and concrete initiatives, such as the chocolate trophy created by Maestro Silvio Bessone, the symbolic handover from the city to the Inalpi Arena, and the presence of artisan chocolatiers during the Final Eight.

📘 On the occasion of these two events, “Torino Regala Torino” is also launched: from February 13 to 22, tourists and visitors can download the Lonely Planet Torino pocket guide for free, to discover the many facets of the city, from history to innovation and contemporary life.

As emphasized by Massimiliano Cipolletta and Domenico Carretta, the 2026 calendar is the result of a collaborative effort between institutions and stakeholders, with a shared goal: to extend the seasonality of the offer and make Torino an attractive destination all year round.
