Torino and Piemonte were the scene of the 6th edition of Italy at Hand, the key event of Convention Bureau Italia, dedicated to the MICE segment from 10th to 13th December 2024; 4 days of business between 80 highly qualified international buyers from 21 countries (Events and Communication Agencies, Venue Finders and Incentive Houses from the main European and non-European markets of reference) and 60 of the best suppliers of MICE Made in Italy (Destinations/Local Convention Bureau, Hotel Chains, Hotels, DMCs) in a networking and entertainment contest, discovering the excellence of the territory.
The exceptional location, that hosted the working sessions was Museo Nazionale del Risorgimento Italiano, where a total of 2,448 scheduled B2B meetings took place over three mornings. Lots of business, but also entertainment, starting with the Opening Night at the Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile - MAUTO, supported by Turismo Torino e Provincia Convention Bureau, with a cocktail bar by Casa Martini - Martini&Rossi, and ending with the gala dinner in the wonderful Reggia di Venaria, a Baroque masterpiece and UNESCO heritage site, which offered participants an atmosphere of extraordinary elegance, leaving an indelible mark on the experience of the edition of the year 2024.
The participants of the event were also involved in 4 engaging and experiential activities - such as Treasure Hunting game at the Royal Palace, designed and organised by Somewhere Tours&Events, Esperienza Vermouth, designed and organised by Esperienza, Chocolate Experience, designed and organised by the Choco-Story Torino of Chocolate Museum of Torino and Esperienza Caffe, designed and organised by the Lavazza Museum - and 4 sites at the main event venues: Lingotto Complex(Lingotto Fiere, Centro Congressi Lingotto, Eataly Lingotto, The Place Torino), Historical Venue (Palazzo della Luce, Palazzo Saluzzo Paesana, Villa Sassi), Modern Locations (OGR Torino, Mercato Centrale Torino, Combo), Museums (Museo Egizio, Museo Nazionale del Cinema).
In addition, the buyers were guests of the Snodo, Circolo dei Lettori, Cloud9-Villa Sassi and Carlina Restaurant & Bar restaurants inside the NH Collection Piazza Carlina hotel and they had the opportunity to explore other destinations in Piemonte through 3 exclusive post tours. From the vineyards and UNESCO hills of the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato of Asti and Alessandria, to the majestic Torino Alps, and the extraordinary beauty of Lago Maggiore and Lago d’Orta.
