The world of research gathers in Torino

During the spring and summer months, Torino hosted some of the most prestigious international scientific conferences, confirming its reputation as a venue for global events and its ability to attract researchers, doctors and professionals from all over the world.

From 29 April to 2 May, the Lingotto Conference Centre hosted SOSORT – International Conference on Conservative Management of Spinal Deformities (400 participants), dedicated to the latest innovations in the conservative treatment of spinal deformities. From 18 to 22 May, the Unione Industriali Conference Centre hosted ISA – International Symposium of Archaeometry (400 participants), a leading event for scholars who apply scientific technologies and analysis to the preservation and understanding of archaeological heritage. From 9 to 12 June, the Lingotto Conference Centre hosted IFW – Insects to Feed the World (600 participants), an international conference focusing on the latest advances in the field of insects for feed and food. From 20 to 24 July, Torino hosted ISBE – International Society for Behavioural Ecology (1,000 participants), which brought together at the Lingotto Congress Centre the international scientific community engaged in the study of organism behaviour and their adaptation strategies.
