The RAI National Symphony Orchestra took over from the four radiophonic orchestras of Torino, Milano, Roma and Napoli in 1994. The Orchestra is based in Torino and plays the Winter
Symphonic Season (from October to May) with weekly concerts on Thursday and Friday evenings in the Auditorium RAI, as well as the Spring Musical Evenings (from May to mid-July).
