In the former 23,000-square-meter industrial area where Framtek, a FIAT supply company, was based, lies the PAV, Parco Arte Vivente (Living Art Park). The redevelopment of the area, conceived by artist Piero Gilardi and completed in 2008 by architects Gianluca Cosmacini and Alessandro Fassi, features a structure that connects plants, animals, and people. The experimental contemporary art center includes an open-air exhibition site and an interactive museum, intended as a meeting place and a workshop space for dialogue between art and nature, biotechnology and ecology, and the public and artists. The center houses works and installations, with both permanent and temporary interventions, and explores the Art of the Living, a branch of contemporary trends that includes Bioart, Biotech art, Transgenic art, and Ecological art. The park is also dedicated to educational and training activities, offering workshops, seminars, guided tours, and internships that provide experiences rich in cognitive, emotional, and expressive stimulation
