Historic place offering vermouth under the arcades of Murazzi del Po
Design
A historic vermouth house in the Murazzi, where the furnishings, adapted to the high brick vaults, evoke the ambiance of a Gothic cathedral. This riverside venue serves traditional Piedmontese wines, cocktails, and tapas, in addition to its renowned vermouths. The art direction of the interior is by Filippo Camedda, with the execution by Izmade, while the architectural transformation was overseen by Officina 8a.
The cherry wood shelves, with their curved metal bottle holders, and the laser-cut sheet metal depicting the dome and revealing the details of the printed and backlit plexiglass, are reminiscent of the brand's imaginative founder, confectioner Federico Peliti, who was not only dedicated to his recipes but also to the arts and photography, drawing inspiration from everywhere and taking his specialities around the world
