Rosenblum Violins

Azienda Made in Torino Tour The Excellent
Enter the world of antique violin making

Yael Rosenblum bases her knowledge of violin making on her experience as a professional musician, as a violinist and violist, graduating from the Israel Arts and Science Academy in Jerusalem in 1996, and later graduating in violin making from the international school and specialisation course in baroque instruments in Cremona.

For the past twenty years she has been making instruments chosen by the first parts of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, La Scala in Milano, Santa Cecilia in Roma, the Florence Opera, the American Ballet Theatre, the Cremona Quartet and many other extraordinary musicians around the world.
Special appreciation of maestro Zubin Mehta upon hearing his violin said that "unlike other modern instruments, Yael Rosenblum’s reminds us of the true ancient Italian sound".

The visit reveals the world of antique violin making, wood, varnish and 16th century tools, with a final concert with one of the instruments created.
