The exhibition presents 21 works painted by Massimo Giannoni, an artist considered to be a pioneer in the choice of subjects such as historical libraries and bookshops, business bags, natural science museum cabinets and Wunderkammer.
Through the representation of these environments, the artist has made time, its suspension and persistence, the core of his pictorial research. Realised between 2024 and 2025, the works on show are intended to be a decisive presence, designed to echo the dimension of the Savoy residence as a place of reflection on time and absence.
The exhibition can be visited within the museum itinerary of the Villa della Regina until Sunday 18th May and will be part of the programme of the Salone OFF connected to the International Book Fair in Turin.
