We will meet at 8pm outside the Officine Caos for the traditional Interplay aperitif.
• Dance is not for us. This powerful solo performance takes us into the dancing and autobiographical universe of Omar Rajeh: an encounter of bodies and ideas, a vibrant interpretation of how art can be a response to the challenges of contemporary life. On stage, he will recount his intimate past through dance, the moment he chose dance in a country, Lebanon, that had just emerged from civil war, destruction, loss and death. Dance survives a past that no longer exists, made up of images that fade away and yet continue to deceive.
Choreographer and performer, Omar Rajeh brings his extraordinary vision of contemporary dance to Italia, continuing to rewrite the rules of artistic creation. In 2020, he founded his company Maqamat in Lyon.
