A guided walk through the woods, suitable for all, leading to the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Bassa in Rubiana, accompanied by the Borgatta’s Factory art collective, who will recount myths and legends of the valley and episodes from the life of the painter Francesco Tabusso; at the end, a tour of the sanctuary with the restorer.
In the first half of the 1990s, the painter Francesco Tabusso produced a number of religious works. In addition to the votive pillars situated along ancient trade and pilgrimage routes in the Susa Valley, in the summer of 1995 Tabusso decorated the chancel of the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Bassa in Mompellato, in collaboration with the painter Germana Albertone.
