Professor Luigi de Francesco guides audiences in discovering one of the most beloved masterpieces of all time: the Divine Comedy.

More than seven hundred years after its creation, Dante’s work continues to speak to our age with striking relevance, because it tells the story of what concerns us most deeply: love, pain, hope, error, and the desire for renewal.

This cycle of four meetings is conceived as a fascinating journey through poetry, history, science, and humanity. An opportunity to listen to, understand, and experience Dante’s verses through guided readings and recitations, bringing the power of poetic language vividly into the present.

11 February: Love in the Divine Comedy. From the earthly love of Paolo and Francesca to the divine love that “moves the sun and the other stars”: an itinerary that crosses Hell and Paradise to rediscover love as a force that saves and transforms

25 February: The Women of the Divine Comedy. Intense and unforgettable figures such as Francesca, Pia, Piccarda, and Beatrice: through them, Dante reflects on eros and charity, on fragility and feminine strength, offering a surprisingly modern perspective

11 March: Science in the Divine Comedy. Astronomy, mathematics, physics, and theology intertwine in a vast fresco encompassing all medieval knowledge, transformed into poetry of extraordinary beauty

25 March - Dantedì: Characters and Events of the Divine Comedy. A journey through key moments, themes, historical and mythological figures - from Ulysses to Count Ugolino - retracing the entire architecture of the poem

Four appointments to rediscover a work that continues to illuminate our path.
