The evolution of tennis rackets is a fascinating journey that reflects technological progress and innovation in the world of sport: the exhibition, organised by the Pro Loco of Susa thanks to the concession of Giorgio Pelissero, offers the opportunity to explore this historical path.
Initially, they were made of wood to ensure a sturdy construction; with the advent of new materials, such as aluminium and fibreglass, rackets became lighter and easier to handle.
The real revolution, however, came with the introduction of carbon fibre, which combined lightness and strength, greatly improving players' performance.
