Have you ever closes your eyes to better savour a dish? Or observed the colour of the stains left by different wines? You can experience this and more in All the Senses of Taste, a series of four events offering new perspectives on the Chisone and Germanasca valleys and their delicacies by pairing taste with a different sense each time.

The series begins on Saturday 18 April with an event about hearing: a musical walk through the hamlets of Pomaretto to discover the Germanasca Valley to the strains of an ancient Occitan instrument: the hurdy-gurdy. It is a rare opportunity to be enchanted by nature awakening, reconnect with the history of the area, be moved by ancient sounds, and savour the produce of the mountains over a delicious picnic.

Sunday 24 May turns to sight. Ramìe, the heroic wine of these mountains, takes centre stage - not in a glass, but on a palette, serving as pigment for a special wine-art workshop held among the vineyards and led by artist Rita Barbero. At the end, naturally, the wine will also be poured for a convivial tasting.

On 21 June, join herbalist Silvia Maria Nepote Fus in search of wild herbs - discovering their names, properties and uses, but above all the aromas that shape the character of the cheeses to be tasted at the mountain pasture of La Chabranda farm.

The final event, on 27 June, is dedicated to touch: a dinner in the dark followed by a moonlit walk. In this immersive gastronomic experience, heightened touch and intuition become the guides to texture and flavour. Guests then step into the night-time silence of the vineyards on a guided walk lit solely by moonlight.
