The exhibition is dedicated to the children of Gaza: over 100 works including paintings, sculptures, watercolors, ceramics, professional photographs, digital art, and installations.
“Once upon a time,” they say, as if it no longer exists today. Murder, abuse, and so much evil, oppression, violence, but also love, friendship... fairy tales are a colorful kaleidoscope of life.
They are dramatic, romantic, fantastic stories, transformed at will, depending on the taste of the narrator and the listener.
Fairy tales that change according to the times and customs, told by writers such as Andersen, the Brothers Grimm, and Perrault, but also by the Italians Basile, Straparola, Calvino, and Rodari.
What many consider to be mere fireside tales, apotropaic or reassuring stories, educational or imaginative, often conceal disturbing implications.
In an age when modern life seems to limit human potential, fairy tales become an indispensable tool for cultivating creativity and imagination, qualities that are fundamental to the development of a well-rounded individual.
