Music & Shows, Culture & Tradition

Club Silencio opens the doors to the Museum of Torture and Serial Killers, located within the premises of the Promotrice delle Belle Arti: a disturbing journey into the darkest corners of human history.

The exhibition will open two main sections to visitors: The Age of the Inquisition and The Faces of Evil. The first takes visitors on a journey into the world of Spain’s first and most famous Grand Inquisitor, Tomás de Torquemada, a symbol of religious intolerance and medieval repression: from the guillotine to the most brutal instruments of torture from the Age of the Inquisition. The second section, meanwhile, offers a glimpse into the minds of the most heinous serial killers, including Ed Gein, ‘the Butcher of Plainfield’, who inspired iconic horror films such as Psycho, Jack the Ripper, Hannibal Lecter and Piero Pacciani.

The evening will be accompanied by a musical selection curated by Pigalle, music producer, DJ and founder of the ROOM project, with which he has graced stages of the calibre of Fabrique Milano.
