The Valsusa DOC Consortium and CNA Torino are organising the 4th edition of Valsusa Emozioni da Bere (Valsusa Emotions to Drink) in Condove, a mountain village where historical wine-growing has marked the landscape and is now known for its excellent mountain pasture products such as Toma di Condove De.Co. For three days, the producers of the four Turin DOC Consortia: Valsusa DOC, Erbaluce di Caluso, Carema e Canavese, Freisa di Chieri e Collina Torinese, Pinerolese with the Enoteca Regionale dei Vini della Provincia di Torino will offer tastings, meetings, and exhibitions to tell the story of the link between wine and territories. With the indigenous Avanà, Becuet and Baratuciat it will be possible to taste the best DOC wines of the Turin area.
Condove venues will offer aperitifs, dinners and tastings with the DOC wines of the 4 Consortia.
Saturday 19th, 6.00 pm at the Phoenix Restaurant: Mountain viticulture in the Valleys: the evolution of the climate, an opportunity for the economy and landscape; photo exhibition
8.30 pm: dinner with a menu proposed by chef Sandro Ostorero and a selection of Valsusa DOC wines
Sunday 20th, from 5.00 p.m. at the covered market in Piazza 1° Maggio: tastings of wines from the Turin DOC Consortia, Toma di Condove De.Co., ancient breads, and "paste di meliga" (20.00 €);
Photographic and multimedia exhibition Valsusa Emozioni da Bere dedicated to the Susa Valley winemakers;
9.30 p.m. in Piazza del Comune: jazz concert by the Dante Milozzi Quartet
