In Avigliana you can find the well preserved ruins of one of the most important castles in Piedmont. Its has a fascinating story and many legends surround this place.
This itinerary will make you discover the stories of the castles and of its inhabitants, among which there was a Prince Phantom. You will admire the natural beauties of this area, shaped by the ancient glacier that left us the two lakes. We will also admire more than 40 nativity scenes build with natural materials along the entire path.
Starting from the ancient road of the castle, we will follow the path immersed in the woods that will lead us to the magnificent Rocce Rosse (red rocks), from where we will enjoy a splendid view of the lakes, the Sacra di San Michele and the Musiné. We will then go up to the castle and enjoy a beautiful view of the valley.
