Are you ready for a whole new way to experience Pinerolo?
On Saturday 6 June, the city opens its cultural doors wide for the Night of the Muses, an event where historical heritage meets games, music and the unexpected.
From the first shadow of evening, the slogan speaks for itself: “Museums open for a whole new night”. Not your usual visit, but an immersive experience within the walls of historic buildings and the city’s museums.
What’s in store for you:
- historical challenges at the Historical Museum of the Cavalry: experience “A Night at the Museum” (link?) amidst uniforms and artefacts, but with an extra dash of strategy. The museum will host fierce “battles” featuring the most popular board games, such as Risiko! and Ticket to Ride.
- art and memory: last call for Effetto Vittone and Becoming Climate. Don’t miss the closing of these two much-loved exhibitions
- puzzles and literature: test your intuition with the Escape Room at the Museo del Mutuo Soccorso or let yourself be lulled by readings and guided tours amongst the shelves and the cellar of the Alliaudi Civic Library.
- Rhythm and tradition: the squares come alive with the energy of Occitan dances and live musical performances, creating a widespread festive atmosphere.
The nerve centre of the event is Piazza Caduti della Libertà, featuring street food and a children’s corner.
Whether you’re a history buff, a games enthusiast or simply looking for a magical evening, the Night of the Muses is the perfect opportunity to rediscover the timeless charm of Pinerolo, and the special Welcome Tours will take you on a journey of discovery through these places.
Participation is free, but booking is required.
An initiative coordinated by the Comune di Pinerolo, with the support of Pinerolo’s museum network and in collaboration with Turismo Torino e Provincia.
