Experience Susa as you have never seen it before, in the heart of Susa: a fascinating journey through history, culture and traditions, accompanied by expert guides to discover one of the most evocative cities in Piedmont.
The tour takes you through the historic centre, a TCI Orange Flag village, amid medieval atmospheres and extraordinary evidence of the Roman era. You will admire the majestic Castle of Countess Adelaide, symbol of the city, and the Romanesque-Gothic Cathedral of San Giusto with its 55-metre-high bell tower. The route continues past the imposing Arch of Augustus, among the remains of the aqueduct and Roman amphitheatre, to the Convent of San Francesco and the Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art in Susa, guardians of art and memory.
Each visit includes both the medieval city and the archaeological area and is enriched, month after month, with a special experience: from the art of the luthier to the discovery of the famous focaccia of Susa, from the evocative summer theatre performances to the traditional patron saint's festival, to the magic of the Christmas markets and lights.
At the end of the tour, a small sweet break will make the experience even more enjoyable.
Visits are available in Italian and French.
Comfortable footwear is recommended.
The tours are organised thanks to the collaboration between Italea and Turismo Torino e Provincia.
