Christmas night. The former innkeeper Bruno goes back through some moments that happened in his inn.
Infact the protagonist has spent 40 years of history and artistic memory of Torino: he’s been friends and coworkers with Isa Bluette, met in the hearly ‘20’s, when they were both working at the Manifattura Tabacchi; he’s seen at his venue the first shows of Erminio Macario and he’s been Fred Buscaglione’s confidant, following his artistic journey from the beginning until his early demise in 1959.
His memories materialize on stage, putting the viewer through some of the moments spent with these big personalities, exploding in coreographies and songs played live.
The songs of the show go through italian music history: from jingles from the early ‘900 up to songs made famous by Isa Bluette (Creola) and Erminio Macario (Turin), to then finish with some masterpieces by Fred Buscaglione (Che notte, Eri piccola, Juke Box, and Guarda che luna).
