The title of the exhibition, DEADHEAD, refers to the agricultural practice of removing withered leaves and flowers from a plant to stimulate its growth. Picking up on the metaphor of a return to the essential in order to release new energy, the exhibition brings together the most representative works of Yto Barrada's artistic research, including films, sculptures, installations, textiles and prints, some of which were created especially for the occasion.
