GIARDINO DI PALAZZO CISTERNA

Historical Garden
The oldest parts of the Garden of the Princes of Palazzo Cisterna, perhaps an Italian garden, date to 1673.
After having undergone various changes over the years, in 1859 the central ellipsoidal flowerbed with a fountain in the centre was designed, with flowerbeds of various shapes divided by paths that create lawns, groves and flower cultivations.
The garden, open to the public since 2015, still has its original shape and the fountain at the centre, the one that appears most frequently in the various projects.
