Villa Bria, also known as La Favorita, was built in 1700 on the ruins of a 13th-century castle, traces of which can still be seen today. Its distinctive beauty and elegance date back to the major extension and enrichment works commissioned by Count Maurizio Beria di Argentine. In the centuries that followed, the families who lived there were illustrious and made it a place of delight and holiday retreat until 1990, when the villa was purchased by a major film production company.
The last major restoration and renovation work dates back to 2013, commissioned by the previous owner, Dr Drudi. The Villa was recently purchased by a real estate company that already owns Villa Sassi and the stately part of the Palazzo della Luce, which is used for events.
Today, the castle is a wonderful location for weddings, corporate events and birthday parties.
