The G. A. Levis Art Gallery in Chiomonte is housed in the 16th-century Palazzo Levis, which formerly belonged to the Paleologo family and was inhabited by Giuseppe Augusto Levis in the early 20th century. The museum takes its name from its founder, a landscape painter originally from Chiomonte, and houses an important collection of works documenting the artist's evolution in the first thirty years of the 20th century (1900–1926), with a particular focus on plein air landscape painting and depictions of Alpine life. The permanent collection includes paintings covering different phases of Levis's production: from mountain landscapes to views collected during his travels, to the lucid “notes” of the Great War and the last years in which his style moved towards a freer and more expressive form.

The art gallery was created thanks to Levis's bequest, which entrusted the Municipality of Chiomonte with a large selection of his works for educational and social purposes. Since 2020, the museum has also been promoting a programme of historical exhibitions and artist residencies, with the aim of involving contemporary artists in reinterpreting Levis' works and engaging with the Val di Susa area — its nature, traditions and communities — thus contributing to the expansion of the civic collection with new acquisitions. Today, the museum is also an active place of education and participation, offering educational activities for adults, families and schools, guided thematic tours, workshops and visits every first Sunday of the month.
