Villa Cimena

Historical dwelling

Just outside Monferrato, Villa Cimena overlooks the plain of the Po, with its Neoclassical façade, surrounded by 80 hectares of land and woods. Born in 1633 and transformed by the royal architect Carlo Sada from a seemingly ordinary country house into a magnificent Neoclassical Villa, it has housed many of the greats in history, from Pope Pius IX to Vittorio Emanuele II, to Mary Adelaide of Austria. Today, the Villa is a location for events that bring to life the charm and the glamor of the great residences of the XVIII century, surrounded by furnishings from the most exclusive collections, amongst which the Royal Palace of Torino and Paris. Available in the Villa are six halls, twelve suites, an orangerie, a meeting room, a professional kitchen, a wine cellar and a private room for wine tastings. In addition to the gardens, arranged on several levels, the guests will be able to enjoy the elegant swimming pool area surrounded by greenery and a panoramic terrace.
