The system of the Protected Natural Areas of the Metropolitan City of Turin consists of six Natural Parks and two Natural Reserves which, protecting and safeguarding a large portion of the provincial territory, allow to enjoy naturalistic and landscape beauties of high environmental value: Colle del Lys, Conca Cialancia, Lake Candia, Monte S.Giorgio, Monte Tre Denti - Freidour, Rocca di Cavour, I monti Pelati and Stagno di Oulx .
