A short and interesting hike in the Lower Susa Valley, exploring a sunny side among small canyons, unique vegetation, and ancient villages. From Foresto, a truly unique area with a warm microclimate and Mediterranean vegetation, along with nearby Chianocco, we briefly follow the road toward Bussoleno and take the "Sentiero degli Orridi" trail. After a stretch of road, we begin a rapid climb to Piancolore, located on a pleasant plateau between several rock faces. We continue climbing until we reach a pass separating Truc San Martino (872 m), an easy grassy knoll seen from here, from the ridge that continues north. We'll stop at this beautiful vantage point and can return via the same route or an alternative. Meet in Foresto at 10:00 a.m. Cost: €20 per person. Reservations must be made by December 25th by emailing [email protected]
