Woods and climate change: the virtuous example of the Po Shared Forest

What role does the forest play in the Po Valley with respect to climate change?

Giovanni Bovio of the Torino Academy of Agriculture, a profound expert on the subject, and Luca Cristaldi of the Piemonte Po Protected Areas Management Authority, with the story of the Shared Forest, contribute to providing an answer.

The project takes up and consolidates the environmental redevelopment projects undertaken by the Park Authority over the last 30 years along the Po river strip and in the surrounding areas, to put them into a system and create a ‘neighbourhood forest’ of around 200km.
