The Banchette Carnival returns with the traditional characters Cossatera and Cossaté and many traditional events.
• Saturday 14, 7.30 pm - Castle: Investiture of Cossatera and Cossatè, presentation to the authorities with medieval music and dancing, torchlight procession to the Circolo, where the characters will be revealed to the citizens; 9 pm: Carnival with Luna e Stelle (Moon and Stars) allegorical floats and groups on foot, burning of the cossa accompanied by songs and dances, dance evening (costumes welcome) and traditional spaghetti dinner
• Sunday 15, 9.00-11.00 am: distribution of fagioli grassi (fat beans) and salamelle (sausages)
• Monday 16, 9.30 am: Carnival with the Schools, masked parade of schoolchildren with Cossatera, Cossatè and the Order of the Pumpkin Flower
• Saturday 21, 8:00 pm: Closing dinner with the participation of Cossatera, Cossatè and the Order of the Pumpkin Flower (reservations at 333.3271763)
