A cultural festival created for the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics with the "Occitan lenga Olimpica" initiative. Year after year, it has brought together numerous communities which, together, offer a rich programme of events during the winter period to help visitors discover the region and its identity.The cultural offering has always stood out for its richness and variety, highlighting the value of culture, minority languages and biodiversity.
Coordinated by the Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Natural Park and the Colombano Romean Ecomuseum (now Aree protette Alpi Cozie), the Chambra d'Oc Association and the Memoria Orale di Giaglione Documentation Centre, with significant support from the Metropolitan City of Turin.
The event The new 2026 proposal is the result of joint work by the promoters and 30 municipalities in the Val di Susa, Val Chisone, Val Sangone and Val Germanasca: Avigliana, Bardonecchia, Bussoleno, Caprie, Cesana Torinese, Chianocco, Chiomonte, Claviere, Coazze, Condove, Exilles, Fenestrelle, Giaglione, Giaveno, Gravere, Massello, Mattie, Meana di Susa, Mompantero, Moncenisio, Oulx, Pragelato, San Giorio di Susa, Sant'Antonino di Susa, Sauze d'Oulx, Sauze di Cesana, Sestrières, Susa, Usseaux, Vaie, Villar Focchiardo.
