Concert Heroes and Tragedies, the first event on the Piedmont side of the Gran Paradiso Music Park. Roots and Resonances.
The event, entitled From History to the Park, is part of the Noasca da Re programme and will feature the Orobie Wind Quintet.
The evening will begin with a talk by one of the park's experts: a unique opportunity to learn about its symbolic animal, the ibex, and the reasons for establishing the protected area.
Following this, the concert will immerse us in a thrilling musical journey, retracing the spirit and emotions of the Italian Risorgimento through symphonies and choruses from masterpieces by Rossini, Donizetti, Bellini and Verdi.
The pieces performed will be introduced by Professor Bernardino Zappa, pianist, composer and musicologist.
