Preda in Dora ceremony on the Ponte Vecchio.
The Podestà, accompanied by his entourage, the Credendari, the Alfieri and the Pifferi e Tamburi, throws the stone taken from Castellazzo behind him as a sign of rejection of all forms of tyranny. The Mugnaia with the General, the General Staff and the Escort of Honour attend the ceremony from the right bank of the river.

Battle of the Oranges. The nine teams on foot bring the Battle of the Oranges to life with the shooters on the floats in the shooting squares: Piazza Ottinetti, Piazza di Città, Borghetto, Piazza del Rondolino and Piazza Freguglia.
