It was built between 1922 and 1924 at the wish of a local committee that decided to build a church dedicated to those who perished in battle during the First World War. The design was entrusted to the architect Carlo Charbonnet, who realised, thanks to a donation from the Possetto family, an elegant single-nave building, in virgin stone in the lower part and smooth in the upper part, with a sloping wooden roof and a small bell tower above the building.
