Three days dedicated to comic book techniques: an experience not to be missed!
As part of the Ar(s)monie holiday project, a substantial component concerns the figurative arts, which have Rubiana and Niquidetto as their reference points, the village of painted lose, made famous by contemporary installations on stone material.
Marco D'Aponte will be holding a comic book course, offering informative lessons on the main characteristics of the comic book language, its evolution and some typical aspects of this type of language, which has immediately proved to be the ideal medium for combining words and images in a personal way.
During the three days, some initial advice will be provided; it will also be possible to do some exercises to improve or start using a means of expression with great potential. Experienced participants will have the opportunity to compare their ideas with a professional in the field, while those who are curious to experiment with this means of expression for the first time will be able to “taste” the possibilities that comics offer for self-expression.
What materials should you bring? 2B pencils, sketch paper, rough or smooth drawing paper, A4 size; black ink or permanent markers of various shades and shapes or other pens of your choice; watercolours or ecolines for colour; brushes of various sizes.
